SPYA will follow the Franklin Pierce Schools Athletic Department COVID Guidelines while using their spaces.
COVID Guidelines
Franklin Pierce Schools will limit facility use to those groups supporting K-12 students and first priority will be to groups that support Franklin Pierce Schools district students.
COVID Safety Guidelines for outside groups
- Masks and social distancing are required of all participants (if the rental is a youth sport group, then students actively participating can remove masks during active participation)
- All groups should have a sign in sheet or attendance records for each time they use the facility to insure that in the case of a positive COVID test they can contract trace.
- All rental groups must do their own contact tracing
- All rental groups must follow the Department of Health guidance outlined for their activity
- If testing protocols are mandated by the DOH then outside groups must follow the testing guidelines
- All rental groups will limit participation to the established building/room capacity.
- Sport groups must limit spectators to the family unit of the participant.
- All rental groups will follow cleaning protocols established by FPS
- Rental groups do not fall under the vaccination mandate
The Franklin Pierce School District will not be responsible for monitoring Covid protocols, it is up to each group. If the district finds the group is not in compliance the district will give a verbal warning. Second offense: phone call followed by an email. Third offense phone call followed by a letter of removal from use of the facility.
